Worth knowing before you commit
Badge scanning at the registration desk needs camera access granted to Odoo, which is a browser permission rather than a setting.
Publishing an event to social channels requires Social Marketing, and WhatsApp messaging requires the WhatsApp module.

Follow-up email to attendees is a commercial electronic message under CASL as soon as it promotes anything beyond the event itself. Registration consent and marketing consent are separate things.
