Worth knowing before you commit
Ending a repair while parts added to the order went unused prompts you to resolve the difference, so the parts list has to reflect what was actually consumed.
Returns processed as a reverse transfer update the delivered quantity on the original sales order, which is what keeps repair activity from distorting your fulfilment numbers.
