Worth knowing before you commit
Anyone logging time has to exist as an Employee record. A user account on its own is insufficient, which becomes a licensing and setup question for contractors and occasional staff.
Time off flows into timesheets on approval where the leave type requires validation, and instantly where it does not, so the approval design changes what a timesheet shows mid-month.
